New Years Eve Severe Weather Threat Continues.

3:28 pm update:
Red Tornado Warning
Yellow Severe Thunderstorm Warnings

Strong to severe squall line in progress across Western Kentucky. This storm is capable of producing a TORNADO. This line of storms will continue to push Eastward across Central and Eastern KY late this afternoon and evening.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch Has Been Issued.



 A TORNADO WATCH has now been issued.


Good afternoon and Happy New Years Eve,
The Storm Prediction Center still has portions of Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama in a Slight Risk for severe weather today/New Years Eve.

A Wind Advisory will be in effect from 10:00 am est this afternoon, until 10:00 pm est tonight for sustained winds of 15-25 mph with gusts around 45 mph.

The best time for a line of strong to severe thunderstorms will be anywhere from 3-7 pm est.
