Cloudy skies with rain chances for most of the day, then heavier showers and thunderstorms chances ramp up again tonight-90%. Numerous models are showing a line of showers and thunderstorms racing across the region late this evening/night. Most of the strong to severe storms will be in the south in LA, MS, and AL where the National Weather Service has a slight risk. We are still not ruling out the chance for a few isolated strong storms in portions of KY, and TN. The best timing will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm est for Central Kentucky.
