Flood Watch in effect
(Dark Green)

Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Kentucky

* Until 2 AM EDT /1 AM CDT/ Tuesday

* A slow-moving boundary along the Ohio River has helped spark a line of showers and storms across north central Kentucky. Storms will be capable of producing torrential rainfall with rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches possible, leading to potential for localized flash flooding issues in some areas.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
