Severe Weather Threat Today & Tonight

 Severe weather threat today through Tuesday. An Enhanced risk has been issued by the Storm Prediction Center for areas located in orange. This incudes Arkansas, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Southeastern Missouri, and West Central Kentucky. The biggest threat will be damaging winds and large hail (some significant in size), isolated brief tornadoes are also possible.


Here is the tornado threat with 5 percent in brown and 2 percent in green.


Hatched significant damaging wind threat in the red hatched significant areas which includes Oklahoma, Southeastern Missouri, Southeast Illinois, and Western Kentucky. 

Hatched significant hail threat there in Texas and Oklahoma.

Tuesday; Severe weather is expected to be ongoing overnight tonight continuing into Tuesday. Damaging winds and hail are the biggest threats with the chance for brief tornadoes possible in the enhanced risk area.


2 percent tornado threat and 5 percent in brown.

Here is the damaging wind threat with the higher probabilities in red at 30 percent to our south.

Hatched significant hail threat to the south including Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
