Strong to Severe Storms Today

               Linktr.ee/WeatherGraphy

Theres a chance for a few strong to severe thunderstorms in our area, however in portions of Central and Eastern Kentucky rain from this morning has stabilized some of the atmosphere. Farther to our West and South, strong to severe thunderstorms will be more probable there are the atmosphere will be more unstable.

Here is the tornado threat
As noted in the brown 5% risk, our southwest counties in KY stand the greatest threat along with locations farther to the Northeast.
Here is the damaging wind threat at 15% in yellow and 5% in brown.
The hail threat remains low at 5% and severe incidents of hail will be isolated.

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued to our Southwest where severe weather is most likely today.
I'll keep an eye out for any changes to the forecast. There will be an additional round of thunderstorms in the coming hours, with strong winds and heavy rain being the primary threat for Central Kentucky.
