Strong to Severe Storms Possible Today

Some much needed rain is falling over portions of Kentucky this morning as we battle moderate to severe drought. 

There is also an chance for minor flooding and strong to severe thunderstorms. The most concerns will be heavy rain and gusty winds. Top right: There is a 2% chance for a tornado to two over portions of Missouri, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, and Western Kentucky. Bottom right: 5% chance for damaging winds across most of Kentucky with 15% in Northeastern Kentucky, Missouri, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, and Western Kentucky. The hail threats are low today at 5% in brown in the bottom left.
