Strong to severe thunderstorms possible this evening

 A line of strong to severe storms from the west is expected to move through the area later this evening into overnight. Severe weather is more probable west of I-65 into the Enhanced Risk area where a few tornadoes will be possible. Damaging winds and hail are also expected with the strongest storms. The magnitude of severe weather will depend on the timing of storms arrival for Central Kentucky as instability will decrease rapidly after sunset. Nonetheless, stay weather. Will update later today as storms get going.

Isolated strong storms today, severe threat Wednesday.

 Isolated pop up thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and then a higher chance for strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday. Today the threats are 5% wind and hail threat. Wednesday is 15% categorical.

Solar Eclipse April 8th, 2024

Good afternoon everyone I know the clouds were stealing the show for a lot of the eclipse, but through patience and persistence we were able to get glimpses of the eclipse at my location. I was not in totality which is a little bummer, but this was a spectacular event. Next time I will travel to be in totality and unfortunately it will be a very long time before we are treated to such an event again. (2044).
